  • about me

Hi, my name is Danielle. I am 20 years old, and I have a little girl who is 15 months. About 3 years ago, I started Atkins, and saw dramatic results. I weighed in at a hefty 215 lbs. (5'7) frame, and got all the way down to 153. Then, the baby came along, but I didn't let that slow me down. I worked out constantly while I was pregnant and only gained 27 lbs. plus I had about a three hour labor without medication. I gave birth to an 8 lb. 6 oz baby. I had to put going back on Atkins off because I breastfed for 12 months. Just breastfeeding and working out got me back to my regular size (fluctuating a few pounds). Now however, I am ready to get to my goal weight of 145. I started doing Atkins again Sunday, and weighed in at 162. I now weigh 157.5. I am ready to get to the size I wanted to be before I got pregnant. Just introducing myself! I used to come on here back then, but no one probably remembers me.

Welcome back! Congrats on the baby, I bet she keeps you busy. I have 4 kids and I remember the whole labor and delivery thing, not too much fun, eh? I had twins naturally (with an epidural though, I was forced into that).

Good luck! Sounds like you don't have that much to lose, I'm sure you'll do awesome!
