OMG! I woke up this morning and couldn't fix eggs quick enough. I felt like I was going to pass out I was so hungry but when I sat down to eat it was really hard to. I had to force myself to eat 2 eggs b/c I felt like I was full. I know that makes no sense but, I don't know. I did lose that pound today that I had gained yesterday. I just drank more water and tried eating more veggies but didn't succeed in doing that.

thats ketosis for ya, hits us all in different ways!
It's why you will find that sometimes on atkins its better to eat smaller meals 5 times a day, dont force yourself to eat, (unless its veggies) theres really no need too!HW 303Aug '04 SW-287 LW-232Restart - Apr 07 - SW 266 CW 225

I have the exact same issue. It's like I am hungry, but it is so hard to eat. Sorta cool, because I feel in control of food now instead of the other way around, but my husband is worried.Originally posted by faith2loseOMG! .
Remember, just cause you're asleep doesn't mean your body stops burning fat. If you think about the fact that you're eating 3 meals plus snacks when you're awake, and you go how many hours since you last ate??? Make sense??
What I do to handle that in the morning is to drink down that BIG glass of cold water first thing. That seems to settle me down while I fix breakfast, and, believe it or not, makes the breakfast a little more palatable. Also, if you are consuming any fiber supplements (ie: flax or psyllium), first thing is a great time to do it.
I know it's hard, but do yourself a favor and only weigh once a week. You're body WILL fluctuate, and once a week will keep you from driving yourself crazy over that pound.
