Hey guys,

Well into day 2 now and 3 litres of water down and my head is pounding!!!
I'm guessing this is a good sign ... is the ketosis fairy on her way??

How's everyone else getting on? Lets keep up the good work!!

thats the withdrawls from sugar n caffeine! great going!

Ketosis should be here by about day 4 or 5! so almost there! by then your headaches should of gone too

Yey!!! just gotta hang in there now!! I've been using that 4 head stuff - as non medicine relief but are we ok to take paracetamol?

Also on the medication theme - are antihist tablets ok for hayfever relief??

yeah ya should be fine with paracetamol! all the antihist tablets shiould be fine, just beware of the ones that come in those lil plastic casing, im always a bit wary of those!

I am on day three and I had a killer headache last night. I saw it as a good sign that my body was detoxing from all those evil carbs. Day three here and so far so good!

Don't worry. The headaches will be a thing of the past and never to return unless it's some other medical condition. Hang in there!

It is just day one for me and I have a killer headache. It must be sugar because I do not drink have caffeine in my diet at all. Darn sugar!!!

Hey guys,

Well it's day 3 for me today just tucking into a lush brekkie of cheese, celery and a tomato and I have to tell you I feel GREAT !!! Did have a sneaky peek on the scales this morning and they haven't moved yet but it's early days and also TOTM so I'm hanging in there. Have decided not to get on them now until the start of day 8 - hoping for some motivation then to make it through another clean week of induction!!!

Not sure about you guys but all these years I been brain-washed into 'low fat' is best and was sure I must be piling on the pounds with all this high fat eating but am somewhat reassured by the scales not having moved upwards!! I love atkins already!!!

Hope you guys are getting on ok - can't wait to hear how your induction losses are progressing!! Let's stick with it, we can do this!!!

You only have a small amount to lose - on induction you should expect to lose 5-10% - which for you is 0.9 - 1.8 lbs - so dont have too many higher hopes! and be sure to move on to OWL after your initial 2 week induction.

Emma you read my mind!!! I was going to ask advice about going up to OWL - but now you've answered it!! Can't wait for more veggies, I love veggies!!! And fruit ...... bring on those OWL rungs!! It's defo worth being squeeky clean for the next 11 days to get onto OWL!!
