  • Come on Induction Flu...I'm ready for you

    Okay...it's Monday. Starting a CLEAN induction after being off and on for the past 2 months. No excuse!! I just went off. I will say that after breaking it, it get's easier and easier to eat unhealthy. I'm lucky, I didn't gain very much of the weight back, but enought to let me know I need to get my booty in gear before I gain it all (PLUS) back.
    So I went and paid my membership for another 3 months at the gym and worked out this morning. I'm going back to my journal and picking up where I left off and hopefully in three months I will be down another 30 pounds.

    2nd day at the gym...me not going for 2 months sure has slowed down my groove. I was doing the stationary bike for about 8 miles in April..now I'm dying at 4!!! I've also decided to use the treadmill everyday, but today it took me 22 minutes for a mile! ONLY 1 mile. how sad is that? Meals and water intake good!!

      Glad you hopped on the wagon again Thumper! And it's so cool that you started exercising again straight off. Soon you'll be able to do what you were doing before, and then more!

      Did you think about stopping by the Second Time Around Club? You might find that you get a lot of tips there, to help avoid further "wanderings" from the Atkins WOE!

        Thanks for the 411. I guess I never thought of myself as a second timer....but I guess 4 months into the program I should have learned something huh?
        I will definatley do that. Thanks for the words or encouragement and look out...275 here I come!

            Yeah, I still feel like a newbie, plus I never really did the rung thing. stayed in extended induction for most of the 4 months, then all of a sudden I had nuts and berries and ......
            well I mention the unmentionables....
            but I'm back and feeling really good about this. To be honest, I DID have alot more energy when on this WOE, and even this being 3 days back, I feel alot better about myself. someone also complimented me as I was walking out of the gym today.

              4th day down at the gym (and atkins)....I was tempted to step on the scale (and probably would have) but this little tiny girl was weighing herself and I wasn't about to move the large weight up too way past 200 with her around
