well first off, i am down to 286 this morning, which is great, never been below the 300 mark when i weighed myself, havn't been this low since like the 7th grade,

i have been getting stressed out and have a big attitude at work, havn't figured out why or was it because of my diet. i usually have one, but lately its been getting worse and hurting some ppls feeling, but i hope not. can anyone explain this or give me a solution. i need to change this, i used to be the happy one at work, and now i am just a grouch

    Re: attitude?

Hmm, my experience has been exactly the opposite. I am much more friendly and cheerful. I know that you will have hormone fluctuations in the beginning, maybe that's a reason? Hopefully someone with more experience can answer you, just wanted to add my 2 cents. I hope it clears up for you asap, I couldn't imagine not having this joy.

Are you taking your supplements? Drinking enough? Eating enough?

It's great that you are starting on Atkins...I was pretty much faithful for 4 months, lost about 36 lbs then kind of went on a birthday/vacation/summer free for all....while still somewhat watching what I ate. Anyway, I'm back on track and if you need a friendly push...I'm right behind you. Our goals are pretty much the same!!

It might be a side effect of the induction flu. It takes a little while to adjust getting off the sugar and carbs. Caffeine, too, if you've quit that. Give it a few days and you should stabilize, until then (going into mother mode) be as nice as you can no matter how you feel or stay away from others until you can. (mother mode off)

I live with a 17 yo grumpy old man in training, so I'm pretty good at the speech. lol

Hope it gets better soon--you'll soon have lots of things to concentrate on being happy about if you stick with it.

Congrats on being under 300! Think about how good you're going to feel and look. You can't go back in time to change what you've done to get where you are, but you can make the future much brighter. You can do this!

Hi Brandon - welcome back to your ADBB family

It's great when we get past a milestone like 300 pounds
              Welcome to Twoterville!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Yes... perhaps LooseShoes has a point... it could be that your body is still getting used to this way of eating and needs to stabilize. The change could be having an effect.
At any rate, it's worth giving it a little bit longer to see if there's any change.
Hope so... and hope you feel better very soon.
