  • energy - where is it

    i cannot get the kick of energy, got the stank breath, ketone strips are purple, loss of appitite, but i am always tired, never used to sleep untill one oclock, but now i can do it no problem, my walking has been harder in the last couple of days, i take a one a day mens health every day, usually under 10 carbs a day, i eat some veggies but not a lot, i just dont know why i am so tired all the time.

    i wake up, take my dog for a hour walk, then lay in my bed untill i have to go to work, but at work, i have been working really hard and sweating a lot in the kitchen. man i love endless wings and a tray of bacon to snack on, mmmmm


    can some one help me, i am doing some research on different vitamins right now

    Eat your veggies. 20g of carbs per day, not under 10!!! You're supposed to be eating 2c of salad veggies, 1c other veggies. Those should help give you some energy... Other than that, it could be induction flu, and pass... Are you drinking your water (plus more if you're getting all sweaty at work)??

      i drink about 200 oz of water a day, no problem, i will try to fit in the veggies when i can remember,

        abolsutely right, you need your veggies, there is no way you can go without them.
        remember this WOE is supposed to be healthy for you, veggies are an important part of that...no veggies = not healthy.

        I hear you on the loss of energy though, I'm on day 9 now and still feel tired all the time even though I do eat my veggies, drink my water and take vitamins.
        Hope it'll change once I'm going into OWL.

        Just keep going, I'm sure it'll get better in time and you'll also be able to plan your meals properly...I'm still getting into that part as well.
        Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P

          well, took my normal walk, and now i have a boost of energy, dont get it at all, and i am never tired at work, just from the time i wake up to the time i go to work, i am going to stick with it though

              Brandon, you have been so doing so good! Keep it up, in another week or so your energy levels should rise. Good job drinking the water....veggies....veggies....veggies, remember to eat them!

                Dude! you gotta get in the 20g of carbs. When I don't I can really feel it. Tired, draggy, could sleep all day. Throw some celery or slice cucumbers in a baggie and take them to work.

                  i have been snacking on veggies at work now, now my lower back, upper arse is sore, i think i have low potassium, which is cuz the veggies, so will be back on track soon i hope

                      Sometimes when I am dragging I find if I eat I feel better. It may be your body telling you it's hungry instead of tired. So, when you feel that lack of energy feed your body some veggies or some other atkins friendly food. My mom says that when she feels that way she needs protein. So try those out when you feel blah and see what happens.

                        I'm being going through the same thing...my energy levels are up and down constantly...just changed to a different multi vitamin that I hope is going to help out. I am on day 10 of induction....it'll pass for us...i'm sure of it!
