ounces mean what?

    ounces mean what?

    does anyone know where i can find a conversion table. 2 ounces of cream cheese would be what? i don't own a food scale.

    the cream cheese I buy comes in an 8 ounce package. Just measure and cut into 4 equal slices if yours is the 8 ounce package. Hope this helps

      i have the whipped cream cheese that comes in the little tub. would 2 ounces be equal to like a tablespoon?

                    Doesn't the tub-style cream cheese have extra ingredients in it to give it that nice whipped consistency? Just a heads up to watch for possible stalls.

                      My fav conversion table is this: http://joshmadison.com/software/convert/ It's small and does more or less everything instantly. I have it on my desktop and don't have to be logged on to the internet for it to work.

                        Always check the list of ingredients!!
                        It still amazes me how many innocent-looking products have nasty stuff like corn syrup/dextrose/other sugar aliases as well as transfats added to them.

                          That is so true.
                          I wanted to buy some salami snacks today, to have something legal to snack and when I checked the package it said that there's dextrose in it...bye bye salami.
                          there really are carbs in the most unexpected places (foods)
                          Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P
