  • new scale?

Hopefully someone will know this answer. My hubby is about 370. We have bought 2 scales now. One would not weigh him (and now it seems to be off weighing me darn scale) and one that weighs him but he doesnt like the design (its clear glass). So once again we are on the market for a scale. What would you recommend for a man his size? I think its is important for him, because of his size. People are noticing my weight loss, but he has so far to go that no one notices it on him, yet. We do measure his inches and that has helped him alot. Thanks to all for that advice.

*edited to make it reflect a post not written in a made up language - why is it that we can type and read it and only see what we want to the words to say?*

I'm pretty sure you can get like doctors type ones? theyre more manual but i trust manual more than digital these days!

I dont fully recommend buying scales, if you can weigh in at a gym or doctors office once a week or once every two weeks thats your best option. IMO.

Thanks Emma - I am afraid we do need a scale. He went yesterday for his check up (just had his acl replaced) and the dr's scale would not weigh him. 350 seems to be the standard. Which is his first goal to be able to weigh in on a regular scale.

That is a good idea as well. lol Why is it the simplest things are never thought of first? We think he has already lost atleast 10 pounds so hopefully it will be just another 2 weeks. Anyone know if there is a way to convert inches to approx. pounds lost?
