  • Edamame

    Hello my fellow Atkinette's,

Can I eat Edamame on Induction?

Edamame is a Japanese green bean, in the pod.

It is the soya bean, by classification.

I'm not sure, how to best describe them, they look like British Garden Peas.

    Re: Edamame

    Hi,

    this is written in DANDR:

Eat nothing that is not on acceptable foods list. And that means absolutely nothing!
Your ˝just this one taste won't hurt˝ rationalization is the kiss of failure during Induction phase of Atkins.

    Hope I helped !

The edamame isn't allowed until the legumes rung of ongoing weight loss phase.

Thank you, I wasn't sure, and you've given me a perfect answer. Thank you again.

I still have a lot to learn.

No stupid questions, Hayden. It's better to ask than to hinder your efforts unknowingly.
