  • asda extra special prawn cocktail is this ok

    the ingredients are
    per pot protein 22g
    carb 2.6g
    of which is sugar 0.6g
    fat 54g
    sodium 1.2
    salt 3g

    is this ok for induction thanks

    I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

      ingredients are cooked prawns 55%,shellfish,mayonnaise,rapseed oil,pasturised whole egg,water,acetic acid,sugar,salt,stabilisers,single cream,tomato,passata,cognac 0.5%,lemon juice,maize starch,salt redpeppersauce,paprika,pepper

        I would suggest getting plain prawns and makign your own sauce to give you the best chance on induction, as although in small amounts it does include some sugar, starch and alcohol in it.
        And it only has 55% prawns so you are paying 45% of the cost for all the other stuff too!

            For induction I used plain mayo with my prawns and for my DH some very finely chopped tomatoes and red peppers & chives added to make him think he was getting his in thousand island cocktail sauce!!!
