  • Exercise and weight loss

    Hey guys

    I have really been working to hit the treadmill for at least 30 minutes a day. Since I started, a few days ago, my weight has pretty much been at a standstill. Is this normal?

    yep, thats why we should only weigh in weekly!!

    dont forget to do measurements too! theyre great for motivating you with exercise!

      Hi my name is Heidi and I am a scale addict. I know I should only be weighing in once a week, but if I don't weigh each morning, I end up obsessing and weight 4-5 times during the day. Thanks for the info on exercise. I did take my measurements at the beginning of the month and plan to check them at the end of the month so now I am hoping for some big changes-little ones are good too!

        Also, pay attention to your water intake when you work out. The last time I did this and started working out big time and not drinking enough water to deal with the added loss from working, out my body held on to those pounds. Once I upped the water intake, I lost pounds overnight!

          Exactly what they said - you could even measure a little more frequently if the scale doesn't buddy up to you. I think I was doing it like, every 1-2 weeks at one point.

            So you should drink more water durning the excercise or just up the intake throughout the day.
