we can have sugarfree jello on induction right?

I know some people say it stalls them, like coffee , aspartame, and diet soda and the bars, but if its allowed I will be eating it. I made sure to count the jello in my carb allowances. (even though its .5 grams per serving)

    thanks everyone, let me know.

by the way...today is day 4 for me and i have lost 7 pounds!
and no, I'm not a man. (so ladies, it can be done)

    I love this diet !

and the jello tasted like HEAVEN because I havent sugar in 4 days. and i dont even like jello normally.

I ate sugarfree jello all through induction and lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I'm a girl too and think that's pretty darn good! I've lost my taste for it for now though... not sure why.

thank you! im glad I didnt screw up induction already. I think diets are personal anyways, and each body is different. We should be able to know what our bodies can and cant handle, as far as stalling, you know? For instance the first day I had half and half ,and felt like I screwed up , but now I see that I really didnt. (so now today will be day 4 and thats a relief) Its my own version of Induction and see, its working for me! and it worked for you- 10 pounds in 2 weeks is amazing...congratulations Did you ever eat the bars or shakes on induction?

One time I disolved 8 oz of cream cheese in the lime jellow and it was soooo rich. Kinda too rich... but very good... you could add celery too to make a jello salad... but you're supposed to reduce the water... I did that and thought it was pretty thick... next time I might not reduce the water... you have to use a blender to blend the two... It's an interesting change of pace anyways. I need lots of variety I find.

Be very careful of "your own version" of induction. There is a method to all this madness and the object is not only to lose weight, but to retrain ourselves to eat differently. Before long we tend to overcustomize ourselves right out of this plan. I know because had wonderful success doing Atkins my own way but turned around and gained back 30 of the 35 lbs. I lost and here I am, back again. Doing the plan the right way. I don't want carbs to take over my life again and Dr. Atkins knew what he was talking about. Read the book. It explains why this WOE works if you make it your lifestyle.

It's allowed, and it is a terrific way to allow yourself a little treat that doesn't have sugar. I've always loved my desserts, and I am not depriving myself of them. Splenda and Aspartame have never ever stalled me, so I don't sweat it.

I love the jello with cream cheese recipe - I use black cherry jello and a dollop is a wonderful dessert. Plain jello with a spoonful of homemade whipped cream is good - and you can make a jello parfait with the whipped cream, too.

            I survived a two-month stall!

its not really "allowed" because it's one of the sweeteners Dr A asked us to avoid.

What i would suggest would be to do a 14 day fully clean induction - by the book , then test the jello after that 14 days to see how it affects you.

                Re: sugarfree jello

I was going to buy sugar free opal fruits yesterday (or was it fruitella?) anyway I didnt. I guessed it would slow my weight loss.....

I keep promising myself everything I fancy when I hit the target weight

Some people lose weight slower than others due to insulin resistance/pcos (like me) - which changes the way carbs are used for energy. Also many medications halt weight loss, like Birth Control pills, thyroid medication etc.

But a big factor that is overlooked is how big you are to begin with. If you have 50lbs to lose you will lose a lot in induction. I remember when I had 45lbs to lose and Id eat a white slice of toast with peanut butter every morning and I still lost 15lbs in the first week!

Now I have 14lbs to lose Ive only lost around 4lbs a week in induction
