Re: Question about Avocado?
They are absolutely legal and a fantastic way to handle cravings, because they have a small amount of carbs and a ton of fat.
About 1 net carb per 1/2 avocado. (you subtract your fiber from your carbs )

Re: Question about Avocado?
They are legal and yummy. I found last time I did Atkins that they did slow my weightloss down a bit. Probably just me. Most people have something that will slow them down. But it's something to be aware of anyway.Age: early 30's

Re: Question about Avocado?
The lowish net carbs are for the black knobbly skinned one - the green ones are much more carby!
Fitday has half of a green one as being about 5 net carbs, so for induction they might push your carb count too high.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

They are legal. The Atkins book says you can have one half per day on Induction."Hey, I eat healthy. If I have to take out an eye, that's the breaks."~Jerry Seinfeld
