Hi could anyone tell me if black pudding is safe on induction i cant seem to find it in the book not sure if it's a UK food. black pudding is pigs blood and pigs fat.

Heheee but actually it's quite nice...if cut thinly and fried. Can't think of what it is or else I go back to what I used to do (As above lol)
Dunno about on Atkins though.....not something I have thought of recently. Be interesting to see.

I thought the ingredient that held it all together was bread crumbs? IF it is, then no, it's not allowed during Induction.~Megs~

Yes I've looked at the labels on Black Pudding in the supermarket and its a no no!!!!

It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!
I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Yeah Rich...I used to like it to...thinly sliced and fried...but when I think of what's in it etc....ick!!!

as a chef I can intellectually understand the uses for blood. It's a great thickener for soups and such. Protein source, etc...
as an American with American tastebuds, I just can't handle blood. The ugly American shows up again...."I'm big boned" ...Um, nobody has bones that big....
