I started yesterday and did well. Didnt have anything not on the acceptable food list. Today started out well, until I got home from work. I think I have overeaten. My belly is a step away from bursting. Reason...I normally have a bad craving for sweets at around this time. Seeing that I got rid (some eaten...lol) of all the bad foods by Saturday in preparation for this I didnt have any sweet carbs to call upon. Instead I ate so much chicken, about 8ozs. I feel so darn greedy and hope that I havent done myself in. It was fried chicken which I havent done in over 5 years. I dont like oil but thought I would fry it to help me get in the fats I need. Seems my body is telling me it really missed fried chicken and ate it like it was going out of style
. And to make matters worse I drank 40ozs water with it. I only drink water and tend to drink a lot. Other than the odd cup of tea some mornings I only have water throughout the day. I dont hate water like some persons do and stay far away from sodas because they lead me to my favourite cookies etc. Plus if I have to have them I prefer the real ones. Hate the aftertaste from the diet ones. I dont drink alcohol either. Have been drinking only water for over a year now, except for when I go to my parents' home. They always have some form of drinks and I get weak easily, but as soon as I get back to my place its back to water...no withdrawal period needed.
According to the calculations I did with Fitday I have had 21 grams carb (1 over I know) for the day which stands at exactly 5%. However the fats and proteins are not in the right proportions...fats 52%, protein 43%. How bad is that? How much will it throw off my well intentioned efforts? I would go do some walking/ running on the treadmill but my belly feels like it will pull me down and cause the treadmill to kick me off.......I got kicked off my first day while testing it out and not using the safety clip...lol.
