Weigh to go
Are you moving straight to OWL to expand your food choices or going to stick around on induction for a while?Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!

Re: 2 weeks today
Thanks guys! I will probably go on extended induction for a little longer, probably until I notice the scales not moving/inches lost. I always do so good at first but then I always sneak in little cheats here and there, but not this time, I have to do this. I looked at a blog on another site I wrote last time I was on atkins, and for week three I started eating atkins bars and diet rite, not a lot tho. That third week I lost four pounds, so I want to see if maybe without eating them bars and diet rites, if it will make a difference at all. Even if it doesnt, I cant trust myself right now, I am very addicted to bad food, still am, I hope the longer I make myself not eat them foods the easier it will get.Originally posted by Elizellen

Re: 2 weeks today
If you sneak in little cheats here and there in the past, you might want to consider moving to OWL. On OWL, your food choices open up so the chances of feeling "bored" with the diet are minimized.
If you look at the metabolic resistance chart in Chapter 13 of the book, you'll see that you have low metabolic resistance to weight loss. Dr. Atkins wrote that the only people who may benefit from extending their Induction are those with a high metabolic resistance to weight loss.

Re: 2 weeks today
Extended induction is fine, but make sure you eat all the veggies you are suppose to have. And remember, alot of people find they lose MORE weight on OWL so don't be nervous about heading up the rungs. Because you are a "bad food lover" like me it is best to follow the rules by the book. We will learn alot about all the good healthy foods out there and make it our lifestyle instead of a diet to lose weight.
25 pounds. That is wonderful!!!!! Keep up the good work and post here often.
