  • Is this fiber supplement ok on induction?

HI all starting induction on monday after doing atkins over 2 years ago and losing almost 35 pounds. I have kept the weight off and I am looking to start again and lose another 15 to 20 pounds. I eat lots of veggies normally I know I have to keep my counts to 20 carbs while on induction so I am wondering how many carbs would this fiber pill count towards my daily 20 gram limit. I currently take 2 pills 2 times a day with breakfast and dinner and I drink plenty of water normally.

    Thanks again

If it was the plain psyllium husks fitday works one tablespoon as having 3.2 carbs less 2.9 carbs = 0.3 net carbs, so if I was taking a couple of tablespoons a day I would count one carb to be safe.
Does your capsule pack give you a carb count for them?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Thx for the reply!! It doesnt list the carb count on the package. I copied and pasted the info from Vitaminshoppes website. I asked someone at vitamin shoppe and was told it contained no sugar.

I guess to play it safe i can count each tab as 1... I had planned on taking 2 with breakfast and 2 with dinner. I drink plenty of water normally as well.
