    I'm sorry you're sick, emrosmom

No, vomiting on this WOE is not normal. Some people do wind up with some diarrhea temporarily though as their systems adjust.

Not everything is WOE related though. Are you sure everything you've eaten in the last three days has been thoroughly cooked? Creepin' crud going around at the kids' schools/daycare? It sounds to me more like you've got a bug.

If it persists for much longer, I'd go see the doctor.

I hope you feel better soon!

I agree with Brook - this is not normal for Atkins induction. 'Induction flu' is more like being tired and lethargic, and as said, some people experience loose 'movements' or constipation to start with.

I hope you feel better soon, but if not do get to see your doctor for some medical advice.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

No... doesn't sound at all like induction flu. You'd have a headachy feel and be lethargic, as Elizellen said. I think it could be a bug too.
Do hope you feel a lot better soon. Keep the fluids up... and do go to your doctor if you don't see a quick improvement.

Thank you... I think I definitely have something because the pain was so bad I had to go to the ER. They didn't see anything seriously wrong though. I got a CAT scan of my belly and they made me drink 30 ozs of contrast mixed with cranberry juice. Plus, I'm on a clear diet until the diarrhea stops, which it hasn't yet (sorry so gross guys). I really didn't want to mess this induction up!

Hon, induction is the least of your worries right now. Get to feeling better, do the best you can while you're sick, and get back on the wagon as soon as you're able.
