I started on 9/4, I have experienced no major side effects except for bad breath (I keep my toothbrush nearby).By Friday I had lost 15.4lbs.
Then I did a major mess up on friday..
for lunch I had a cup of cooked carrots, along with my tuna salad, then for dinner I had a taco salad with sour cream and tiny amount of refried beans.
I had read the book but not close enough on the rules of induction, I thought that carrots were ok, and as long as I kept my net carbs below 20 I was ok. I also didn't know that carrots are loaded with carbs. Since then I haven't lost an ounce.
Believe me I have read the book back to front and then again this weekend. I won't make that mistake again.
My question is
How long does it take to get back in the groove and start losing weight?
