Ok so i lost on Atkins before and i did a pretty good job, almost perfect. Well, I mean, I think the bad stuff was with the ketchup that was not low carb or the creamy italian dressing that did was not atkins low carb and accidental cottage cheese(small things like that) Nonetheless, I lost about 13 pounds in a week, and i was very proud. I have still kept that off actually ,so i have decided to go back on it. Today will be my starting day. Previously, I was about 210 at my starting weight. I am now down at roughly around 193. I am really excited. I want to obtain my goal weight of being approximately 130. That means about 63 pounds which ,for some reason, doesn't seem like it is going to be **** on earth because of the fact you can eat good food still ,as long as you ,follow it perfectly to get the best possible results, but i am willing to do that now because i know how great and how fast aktins really does work. I have witnessed it first hand before. My goal is to lose it all in about 6 months, since atkins works faster then most other diets, to lose all my weight approximately 63 pounds ,and soon i will be in the best shape of my life. I will use this board now as a support system. I will try my very hardest. I really have never wanted to do something this much before, and i am willing to do anything, healthy of course to get to it. Thus far, today i have had 3 pieces of bacon and soon i will have 2 fried eggs. I will keep it up because i want all this weight gone in a matter of half a year. Hopefully, you all come and support me on my message board here because i will need it very much. I quite possibly will start making a daily journal ,on here, of what i eat just so it is easier for me. I hate to write it down in my notebook anyway. It seems better when people see it and can give you feedback on how well or maybe say don't have to much of that kind of critque. Thanks so much. I hope to hear from you soon! Kelsey

Re: I lost on Aikens before lets try again
Kelsey, you have taken the first step. Just remember, after your first two weeks of induction many people stall. This stall can last a week, a month, or months. You need to stay focused through this frustrating time and don't quit. The weight loss will start up again....

Re: I lost on Aikens before lets try again
Welcome back Angel...yes this WOE (way of eating) does work..I, too am a second (or third) timer...... but this time is soooo different. I am reading this board, asking a lot of questions and also tracking what I eat on Fitday.com...register---it's free and it really helps with keeping you aware of your food intake, carbs, percentages and all...even has a component where you canb log in your exercise (ouch! something else I didn't do the forst time). The support and response here is awesome!! luv! it luv it! luv it!.... Just keep posting and reading all of the threads, I was amazed at the level and amount of information here. I will be seeing you..gotta go back to work............Sherhic4
