  • Made it through my first week on induction

    Hey Everyone,
I just started atkins for the first time and these message boards have been a tremendous inspiration. So far, I am done with my first week on induction and my results were incredible...I lost 8.7 pounds and 9.5 inches...ahhhhh.....I couldn't believe my eyes! With results like that it makes me even more motivated to keep going. The reason I made it through the whole week though were reading everyone elses posts. Whenever, I was hungry or wanted to cheat (first three days) I came on here looked at peoples before and afters and would just think to myself...one day that is going to be me. So, thank you to everyone who's come on here and shared their stories...well here is to my second week of induction....hopefully, I will have similar results....

yeap god knows sometimes it is hard as ****, but wouldn't we rather be healthy and sexy then overweight and not feeling good about ourselves. I am starting again today. i tried it before and since then lost like 17 and i was only on it for like a week when i lost like 13 but since after getting off it lost a couple more. i wanna loose about 63 and i think this is the best way. I have seen some people on here that have lost like 120 lbs in like 7 months and i wanna lose 63 in 6 months. Therefore, it definately makes me think i can do it, and i know you cna too.

Thanks everyone for your replies...you all look like you are make great progress as well...it's nice to talk with people who are kind of in the same boat as you just starting out. That way you can go through **** together....haha. Although, I must say after getting over the 3 day hump, as I like to call it, it is a little easier....and yesterday I just found linda's low carb menu and recipes....it has a whole section on induction foods... it's wonderful. I suggest checking it out if you haven't already!

Re: Made it through my first week on induction

This place is amazing!! When I was stressed out about not losing any weight during OWL 1, I came here and re-read posts about stalls and I calmed down. It's a good thing too because I was about to give up and wolf down some cookies. -gag- But I decided patience was the best solution. And I got over my stall a couple of days later losing 2 1/2 lbs. XD

Linda's site is awesome! I love the spinach lasagna! -yum- *^^* Congrats on starting this WOL. I haven't regretted it since I started!
