    Ketostix question.

I know that alcohol will give you a false reading on your ketostix...but how much does it take to throw your results off? For example, I took an itsy bitsy sip of some merlot, just to make sure it was good before serving it...would that be enough to give me a false reading? Thanks in advance for your answers

    Re: Ketostix question.

That tiny bit should not make a difference in your readings, but i'm not an expert, and i do know that you are right, alcohol will wipe out the reading.

It depends on how efficient your liver is.
