Hey all. I have found that since I have started induction a few days ago I have been urinating frequently. Is that me losing excess water?

Re: Frequent urination?
Could be the natural diuretic effect of Atkins... or it could be that, as you've increased your water consumption as per plan, you spend as much time peeing as we all do!!!
I reckon it's probably a bit of both. Before and after:

Re: Frequent urination?
I find the same happens to me ckb2hot, and I've always been fanatatical about my water intake so I havent really increased the intake....it really seems to affect me in a diuretic type way.....
works for me
I always feel a little leaner within the first few days of induction, WAAY less bloated. I love that!
Course if I could just STICK TO IT after induction....lol....still workin on that part

Re: Frequent urination?
The same thing happened to me too - and back at the beginning of Induction I wasn't a very good water drinker, so I know it was the diuretic effect.
Now I chug between 3-4 liters of water a day, so I'm still "going" frequently! (Makes for a nice break at work though, since I quit smoking over a year ago I've been glued to my desk all day!)5'4" Female, 39 Years
