Just like anything else I have ever fought and lost... I surrender.

I don't know exactly what it is - I am sort of poking along here...

My veggies are measured and are only 3 cups max and on the allowed induction list.

I love eggs and meat and cheese. No problem there. I love the mock danish.

It's easy for me to eat 2-3 eggs fried in 2-3 Tablespoons of butter along side some induction friendly veggies.

Breakfast today -2 fried eggs in 1 T butter
Lunch 1 Cup of Egg salad, 2 celery sticks (about 5-6 inches long) and a hamburger patty with cheese on top

96 oz of tea (tis really a quite diluted tea with 1 herb tea bag and 2 pack of stevia)

I was 233 when I started this and am now 230.4 (yes you betcha I'm gonna count that .4!!!)

I have not had fruit, white sugar, flour in 21 days - I have had sugar cravings from **** and not given in with the junk carbs.

Today it's NO splenda, no stevia.

    none

    Nothing changes if nothing changes...

This is the day it changes!!!

    This pic...motivates me! ugh!

There's lots of things worth dying for...sugar in my body isn't one of them!

    Re: Surrender

If there is anything to surrender to it is this knowledge...

That if you keep doing what you are doing you will succeed at this weight loss. You are breaking the sugar and carb addiction that got you here in the first place. You have lost weight, and in the course of a year or more you can look back and say I stuck with it and now I weigh.... or you can say I wasn't losing fast enough and I quit.

Put into simple terms you have lost 2.6 pounds after 3 weeks on plan that translates into 45 lbs in a year. That is nothing to sneeze at I can't think of anyone that wouldn't be proud of that weight loss. You will have had the time to adjust your life and lifestyle to this and it will become second nature. Not to mention the other health benefits that you will have gained.

I am the same age as you and I need to lose over 150 lbs. I figure it will take me about 2 1/2 years to get to where I want to be. And I will be 48 at that time, and if I quit now, I might be turning 48 and still be fat or stick with this and become the person that I know I already know that I am inside.

So if you need to surrender, surrender to this WOE and don't look back.

      Well said
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
