  • Day 5, 14 pounds gone, is this all water weight?

    Ok, I know Im a big girl, but since Induction 5 days ago, I have lost 14 pounds. I know they say the bigger you are, the faster you lose, but Im wondering if all of this is water loss? I have stuck to Induction to the Tee and got the "energy high" on the second day of Induction.

    Oh, and by the way. Who would have ever believed walking and breathing could improve with just 14 pounds. Im so serious. I noticed it yesterday when I got out of the car and walked to my apartment. I actually enjoyed the walk. Thats a first since becoming this big.

    wow!!! those are GREAT results! everyone's are so different. it's taken me almost a month to lose as much as you...

      great results! who acares if its water, its still 14 pounds gone forever!! i think it says somethin in DANDR like - you can guarantee that after 4 days its all fat that you're losing!

        I depend alot on the members here right now and really appreciate all the tips and encouragement. Im not sure I would have been able to make it through the first day of Induction without all of you. My first day was aweful. All I thought about was eating something sweet. Day three was also really hard, my head pounded unbelievably. But I have made it through 4 entire days, and Im so proud. The smiles on my daughters faces and the support from everyone here makes me really believe I can do anything.

                  Thanks to you guys for supporting me. Induction is so hard in the aspect that I completely have to relearn how to eat. I spend alot of time at FitDay working on my menus. I pay alot of attention to the percentages of fat, carbs, and protein Im supposed to have. I have to switch it around alot right now. I never go over my carbs but my percentages are always off. Usually too much protein. Im not really doing anything fancy with my food right now, pretty basic except for the tuna muffins which are to die for. I make my own tarter sauce and it is so yummy. I hope planning meals eventually gets easier. Also, the only vegables Im eating are sliced mushrooms fried in butter, celery, and romaine lettuce. Im adding red pepper today. I had never tried them-they are so yummy raw.
