  • Staying the course

I am so proud of myself for not giving in and bingeing after the chocolate last night. I woke up craving water and realized that the crystal light over the last few days really hurt me as far as my craving were concerned. I thought, "I'm not a sugar addict; I can have splenda." Not, last night was the manifestation of a weeks worth of cravings and I gave in but I immediately grabbed control back. I couldn't have don't that two weeks ago. So I am sitting here looking forward to my morning bacon and eggs and realizing, I can do this! I have to have goals beside just looking good though.

Goal 1) Take a motorcycle racing class in summer and be light enough to maneuver into form easily.

Goal 2) Take the kids on a weekend backpacking trip this spring and carry half their gear.

Goal 3) Join the climbing gym and take beginners classes in January.

Losing weight is just the first necessary step!

I'm proud of you too!!! You thought beyond the food and remembered your goals!
