Right as advised i'm not going to have sausage, bacon, or sausage meat! Now i'm stuck for breakfast ideas! Help! Instead of bacon can i have gammon?
What type of thing do you eat for breakfast on induction?

Why can't you have breakfast meat? Not sure what gammon is. Well, instead of... you could have Vegetables and lots of em. I had spaghetti squash this morning with an ounce of cheese melted with butter. I've had a bowl of brocolli and cauliflower many a morning. Also, you could have an omelet with peppers, onions, cheese, or whatever veggie you like with it.

Found this recipe on the internet but haven't had time to make it yet...sounds yummy though!

        Egg muffins

        5 well beaten eggs
        1/4 cup cream
        1/8 cup iced water
        1 teaspoon parmesan cheese
        pepper to taste
        Mix together thoroughly.

Mound no more than an 1 heaping tablespoon of grated cheese in each of six sprayed muffin tins. (Tip: Home grated cheese goes further than pre-grated, packaged cheese.)

Add crisp bacon or diced ham, sausage, peppers, left over veggies to muffin tins topping cheese. Pour egg mixture over cheese and "toppings".

Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Can be refrigerated and warmed up later.

my favorite is three eggs scrambled together in a small pyrex bowl with about 6-7 cubes of cheddar cheese mixed in... cover it with that glad press and seal wrap... poke a few holes in the top and microwave it for 2 1/2 minutes. You make it, cook it, and eat it all from the same bowl. I love it... less dishes for me!

I have bacon (shwanns pepper crusted) and eggs almost every morning and I've lost 50 pounds in 4 months.

Are the meatballs legal? I mean they don't have any breading or anything? I've heard they're really good. I might have to get some. I've never had any of their fish. But their chicken is really good.

I had leftover crustless quiche (sp) this morning. I made it with 7 eggs, 1 cup cream, a bunch of cheese, boiled spinich drained and cool, some small cherry tomatos.. I put the spinich on the bottom along with the tomatoes, cover with cheese in a square oven dish, preheat to around 400f or 220c. I mix the egg and cream and add some salt/pepper. pour on top and add a little more cheese. Put the thing in the oven for 40 minutes or until raised up real big.

take that out of the oven and let it sit 10 or so minutes.. wham!! you have a good treat for the mornings.

go to www.schwanns.com on their website you can find all the nutritional information you need, carbs, fiber, ect. It tells you the ingredients. You would be suprised how many "legal" items you can easily buy from there. They even have a carb comfort icecream for those able to eat it. Their salmon fillets baked in an over set at 350 with a sliver of butter on top of each and a little lemon pepper seasoning on it is to die for. meatballs should be legal. they only have 2 net carbs in the for 6 meatballs. I ate mine last night with mayo.

My usual breakfast is a piece of one of the crustless quiches from Linda's Low Carb site - link provided earlier in this thread. I am always in a hurry in the morning (catching every last minute of sleep!), so I make a couple quiches on the weekend and freeze the individual pieces, then I grab one and take it to work with me and warm it up there. They're easy to make and pretty tasty. Today I had the crustless spinach quiche for breakfast and I'll probably have the cheeseburger quiche for lunch.

I am a crustless quiche user for breakfast too as I dont cook that early in the day!

My recipe uses 4 of everything (4 eggs, 4 oz cheese, 4 fl oz of cream) as well as some cooked bacon and/or veggies like grated cauliflower, red peppers, chives, etc and I make it in a round oven dish and split it into 6 for a weeks worth of breakfasts.

I usually have 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes or raw mushrooms with it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
