Are the Tea 2 Go decaf tea packets ( that you add to bottled water) acceptable on induction? They are made with splenda and have 0cals and carbs.

Re: tea 2 go
I used them successfully throughout induction, and continuously since then. I don't think that they were mentioned specifically in the book. Should count as regular black tea, but also count the splenda servings. Assume one serving of beverage = one serving of splenda, to a max of 3 per day during induction.

I am not sure the maltodextrin is legal since it is a derivative of corn starch. It is in a lot of the Atkins products, but it has a GI = to glucose.Wayne

Re: tea 2 go
A good reminder to us all to check the list of ingredients, as even foods emblazoned with a large 'made with Splenda' label can contain other non-splenda sweeteners which are not necessarily 'legal' for us.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: tea 2 go
see my problem is if I make a 1/2 gallon of iced tea or lemonade with splenda. I still drink way more than the 3 splenda quota. If I have nothing to drink in the house, I will drink my water, but when I am thirsty its hard to not over drink the induction flavored water.
