  • How bad was..

... I went to a friends 9 days into my 14 days and was sitting and BS'ing w. him and he asked if I wanted a drink. I instictively went and grabbed the canadian whiskey, poured about 3-4 shots worth, and finished the 1/2 - 3/4 can of Mountain dew sitting there.

I have sat and had drinks like this w. him for years and it was autopilot, it didn't even dawn on me till I had lefthis house.

So did I ruin 9 days of induction and need to start over?

You might add an extra day or two to induction.

If it happens again, go all the way back to the beginning and start over. It would be a sign that you are not fully into the woe.

      Good luck!

Yeah that was my plan to run another 3-5 days on the induction. I can get through this w. no problems.. The day I started induction an order came in from redwheel.. cheesecake bites and a French Silk pie. Its in the freezer and since day 3-4 I haven't even thought about it.

The silly thing is I had been so careful to be 100% sure on everything I ate before eating / drinking it. Its all been water water water and an occasional cup of unsweetend no creamer coffee some mornings. I went in, mixed the drink and put it away without once even thinking about what I was doing.. certainly not my brightest moment. Had I even thought for one second I would have went out and grabbed my water from the car. Hindsights 20/20 I suppose. Onward I go..

I read somewhere that celery was an acceptable induction food, is that correct? I am planning to start taking 3-4 med size stalks w. creme cheese to supplement my can of chicken for lunch. =D

Celery is induction friendly. Good thinking to supplement your chicken like that. Try to make sure that you are eating veggies with each meal, it keeps your energy up, ya know?

Well I am on day 16 going into day 17 on induction do the the mountain dem/whisky fiasco.. I am planning to hold off till the 19th day and then step up to the owl phase. I am tiring of cheese and thats a scary thing since I've had a deep love affair w. it all my life

Going to look for some recipe's and lists of food(s) info on the owl phase so I can get started and have the right ingredients etc.. on hand.
