  • Start of week 2 induction

I made it through the weekend with NO CHEATING!!! Don't know how I did.. I guess lots of will power since hubby isn't on it while he was eating snicker bars.. lol.. but I made it!! YAHOOOOOOO.. I am also down 7lbs which I think is the reason I stayed on it.. when I felt like cheating I said to myself.. do you want to put those 7lbs back on.. and my answer was NO.. so I didn't cheat.. I would also go to bed early when a craving came on.. How was the weekend for all of you still on induction??

Well I made it through the weekend too with candy bars all over the place at work, son eating popcorn with butter next to me at the movies and going to my favy restaurant, Mel's. In the past I would get a patty melt or meatloaf sandwhich, cheese or gravy fries and a strawberry malt. Instead this time I ordered a santa fe salad which is a salad with a grilled chicken breast with melted jalepeno jack cheese, a little scoop of salsa and sourcream, very yummy! And for some strange reason I didn't even have the urge to snatch a fry off my kid's plate! So I'm bumbed that I was SOOOOO good and did a clean induction and only lost 4 lbs. =( But I'll take it and hope that week two is better! I should've measured myself last week but I forgot so I'm going to measure myself today and keep track that way too. Congrats on your 7lbs. and making it through the weekend with Snickers nearby! I know how hard that is!

I made it through the weekend cheat-free! Not cheating wasnt the difficult part... it was hard making sure I was eating enough food and drinking enough H2O.

I missed lunch on Saturday AND Sunday. That really messes everything up. I try to eat enough calories and carbs in those last few hours and end up power loading my carbs. My last meal last night had 10 of my 20 carbs in it... I dont think that's a good thing.

I also did not drink enough water at all ...

I need to start thinking ahead and bringing water bottles with me ...now if I could only pack a portable potty *grin*

Well I guess we all did GREAT!!!

FatActressInLA, I think 4lbs is GREAT!! better then none.. I guess I just had more water weight then you had to lose.. lol.. its a loss and that is wonderful like you said make sure you measure yourself since I think we see results more that way.. I lost 2" off my tummy and 1" everywhere else in 1 week.. I was shocked when I saw that.. Keep going you are doing wonderful!!

Grniidgrl, You did great too.. Not cheating for me on the weekend is the hardest.. But I like you skip lunch usually on Saturday and Sunday.. so usually I don't lose anything.. I love water so that isn't hard for me to drink.. I make sure I bring one with me where ever I go and then usually stop to buy more.. (need it ice cold) keep up the great work!!
