I have been in the same boat, though with a sore tummy. Heavy cream was not too bad, same with full-fat cottage cheese. Mint tea with splenda is good, and you can make popsicles out of the splenda sweetened "juice" drinks or iced tea. I also tried the sugar free custards which walk the line or legal or not, but are very soothing and better than blowing the diet.
It's not fear that grips me, only restlessness.
