I have a question when making my soup, im using some mixed veggies. i was planning on only adding one can and it only has 6 carbs per serving in the can which 1/2 cup is a serving and there is 14.5 oz in the can. If my serving of soup is under the amount of carbs im supposed to have why should it matter what veggies are in it? If its a big ill find veggies im allowed to have to put n it.

Re: Question???
First off ditch the canned veggies. If you are in a place that has a good selection of fresh veggies buy those instead. Much better tasting, much better for you. If fresh veggies are limited in your area then go for frozen. They will still have their nutrients and will taste closer to fresh. Second, what veggies are you using? Some are legal, some are not. If you are not sure check the legal foods post on this board or refer to your DANDR. Also, if you are using canned/boxed stock be sure and buy the low sodium. You can always add more salt later if it needs it.
