For munchies that are not messy and don't require heat or refrigeration that I can chow on while working/driving at night. Can't leave evidence on the newspapers, ya know

Pork rinds are a great snack if you watch the amount and salt, but I have a question. Think about why you are eating then. Are you hungry? Can you eat a better meal before you leave? Are you just used to eating at that time and you have the munchies out of habit.
My habit was munching while watching TV. It took me a long time to realize this was a habit, not hunger.

I was going to say jicama too. Or really any veggie on the list.
Also turkey pepperoni is good... I'm sure the regular kind is too, I just don't like it as much cause it's all greasy.
Or little bit of olives or a little pickle..
You could also take a little lunch box with an ice pack and have hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese, etc.
