A small amount of heavy cream is allowed:
" Cream, heavy or light (limit to two to three tablespoons a day; note carbohydrate content) "
but ....

I drink coffee every morning, I know a lot of people on induction frown on that, but I believe for me it does not affect my cravings or blood sugar.
Good luck. (so I think you can have a cup of coffee from starbucks with 2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream, but others may not)
