Hi there
I've been on Atkins for several weeks - 8 or 9 or so - and am feeling far better on it. Problem is, I haven't really lost any weight at all, just a little bit of water. I only have about 25 pounds to lose, but those 25 make me feel awful. My arms are especially big and I have trouble with cellulite. I've been eating eggs every single day and have just found out that I shouldn't have them as I have a food sensitivity to them. There goes breakfast! And I also used eggs in a mayo that I used just about every time I ate. My question is: has anybody else experienced a lack of weight loss that's disappeared when they've cut out the offending food? It's only been 2 days without eggs at this point so I've not noticed any difference yet. Also, I live with a vegetarian partner who doesn't like having meat around - I seem to be having a LOT of fish... it would be far easier if I could just tuck into some steak!
Has anyone else had allergy probs? I'm wondering if the allergy caused a histamine response which has kept the weight on.
