    Well well ...

This is me doing the funky dance I cannot believe this diet. I weighed myself on Friday .. after doing my 2 weeks induction and I have lost 8 pounds. I tried to lose weight on weight watchers 2 weeks before starting Atkins and only lost 1 pound (which was probably water). To think at day 10 I nearly gave up. How glad am I that I didn't. This has definately given me the boost to carry on.

I have been feeling that there has been something wrong with me as I have been unable to lose weight on other diets. Normally I lose a pound here and there and found it so disheartening. Now I feel I can do it .. I can actually make a difference to my size. Yey I'm so happy

        1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

Congratulations! When you move to OWL you'll loss even more!

I have a co-worker on weight watchers and not to knock the program but I am losing so much faster than her. She actually told me she is going to cut some carbs (imo she eats a lot of sugar even though she counts it in her points) to try to lose more. I love Atkins!

Thank you everyone for your replies .. they are so encouraging and just what I need. Well it's now 3 weeks today since I started Atkins and I've lost another 2 pound. I did feel a little disappointed when I got on the scales this morning but when I totalled it up .. 10 pounds in 3 weeks I felt completely overwhelmed. I've never lost this much weight in such a short space of time before. I understand it will slow down but I still feel confident that I can shift this weight once and for all. I need to lose loads before June next year as that is when I am getting married. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I have another loss next week. Yey this is great.

Thanks so much for your support .. and Karlita keep going you will be surprised by the results, especially if, like me, you find it hard to lose weight.

Something amazing happened to me yesterday. I was out buying an outfit for my work's christmas party, and guess what, my usual size was too big for me. On the downside they did not have one in a smaller size .. but that still did not take the grin off my face.

                            Yey to this diet ..
