    Well day one was a huge success! It was pretty easy . Now day (2) I can already tell will not be as easy. The headache is kicking in... I am a huge sugar and caffeine fanatic so my body is noticing there absence . Anyway I am determined to see day 3! So bring on the headaches baby because I am not failing, lol .

    Think of the baaaad induction flu symptoms as being your body successfully dumping all the residual junk, switching over to better metabolic processes and gearing itself up for a weight loss and better health.

    Just a couple more days and you will be feeling fabulous!!

      drink water, walk or exercise for at least 30 minutes today, even just walking in the mall for 30 minutes is good. you need to get the blood flowing. stick to the induction list, and it gets much easier.

        It does get much easier. For me the flu lastes a week but it was so worth it!

          This is also my second day of induction and I am feeling tired and hungry. I am ready for the challenge though, stay strong and let me know how well you are doing.

            yea same here.. First week was horrible. Headaches were really strong and constant. A lot of fatigue as well. ibuprofen becomes your friend.

            As jimmy said, lots and lots of water and try to exercise but at the same time don't hesitate to give your body a rest if it needs it.

            By the end of the 1st week, the headaches become minor to none and your body will adopt to your food intake changes.

              Today is my 2nd day! and whats weird I am not even HUNGRY! WOO HOO......I though I was going to starve but it ain't that bad....Haven't cheated yet......I am liking this DIET. Just think about how you will LOOK when you reach your GOAL!

                Hey Karlita... and mjlanham...if you don't mind we should keep each other company considering we are all on our 2nd day of induction. I could use as many buddies as possible.

                Everyone else who responded to my thread thank you so much for the support! I am getting ready for bed. Day 2 down. On my way to day 3... wooohoooo!!!!

                  hey guys! I wanted to break the ice and make my first post.
                  I Started on sunday at 198 weighed in today at 195 ! 3lbs already! which is awesome
                  I was doing low calories for awhile and never lost more then 5 lbs...this so far is much more satisfying! i did experience the headache yesterday and I also went to bed pretty hungry the other night but today I have only experienced a little fatigue and couldn't really complete my workout routine, but I feel pretty good otherwise!

                  i can't wait to start to see it in my face/belly/arms/legs/calves!
                  145 here i come!!!!!!!!

                    trashingday.. Welcome aboard..

                    Just a quick advice though.. Try to stay away from the scale. It is actually recommended to weigh yourself after the induction is over. Having said that, I cannot stand the excitement myself and do it every week.

                    All the headaches and fatigue you feel are totally normal. The first week is really bad, but gets really better, I am sure you will like it.. I would say if you can make it the first 7 days without cheats, you are in the game .. Good luck and stay in touch with all of us in here. This forum is really awesome.

                        ON 3rd day! and feeling awsome, I know is so hard to not weight yourself, this morning I had to was so curious and I am down 4 lbs. LOL I know is only my water retain but I am excited "Yuppy" still not hungry, is that normal? I think is great thou. Is having alot of Mayonnaise BAD? well get back......

                            jlyn, I think that is a great idea since we are all three on the same day. I hope day three goes well for all of us. I had a hard time last night when my husband ordered pizza. I just scooped all the toppings off and ate my "pizza in a bowl". It was good, the bread sticks looked better! But in a couple of days these cravings will pass. Good luck today!!
