Day three for me too. Starting over...again. But I've lost 4lbs (can't stay away from that scale no matter how hard I try!). Good luck and I'm glad that you're having a good day with cravings and all.

i can't stay off a scale either, that's why I got rid of all my scales, its worse than crack when my whole self worth is dependent on a random weigh in, i forget this is a way of life that I have chosen to follow for the rest of my life.

I like the scale...Only when it's good to me of course I'm trying to weigh in at least once a week....and maybe just a little sneak in during middle of the week, just to know if anything is stalling me.....Just remember, if you're not noticing any Lbs lost, you're also losing inches so make sure you measure too!!!

            Good luck..You can do it!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean about the scale being like crack. I weigh myself every morning....is that bad? I just love watching it do down, even if its just ounces. I'm on day 4 and things are going well. Good luck to us all!

I wouldnt say it is 'bad' in itself, but if at any time you find it spoils your day if the scales stand still or even go up (it happens - weightloss is not linear or regular however well you are sticking to the plan) then would be the time to reconsider a daily weigh in.

Personally I found it 'interesting' rather than upsetting when the scales moved up and down over the weeks. I learned a lot about what my body does weight-wise on a daily basis which allows me to stay calm if I see an unexplained gain - I know it will eventually go down if I stick to plan.

However some members find that this normal up/down/stop movement really upsets them and makes them question the efficacy of Atkins, leading to the very common 'I might as well eat pizza if I am going to put a pound on eating Atkins' syndrome'. If you find you are one of the many who get these feelings on seeing the scales move up then please try to stick to weekly or monthly weigh-ins after your fist 14 days on induction
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Congrats on the good work! As for the scale I was only weighing every two weeks but now weight every morning and am much happier. If it goes up I try to determine why (i.e. too much bacon and I am retaining water, etc). I think it works as long as you don't let a gain upset you too much (unless of course you have been cheating).
