  • Baked Beans!!!

    Hiya,
    second day for me and so far so good.
    im looking forward to having big fry up in a min.
    i was wondering about baked beans,are we allowed to have them on induction.
    i have half a tin here and when i look at the label it says carbohydrate 30g of which sugar 9g.so which one i should be looking at when counting, the carbohydrate or sugars.

        Step away from the tin of beans!!!!!!!!

        Avoid them completely, not only 'if possible'. They are not good on any phase of the Atkins way of eating, and DEFINITELY not on induction.

        On induction you can only eat the foods allowed - as listed in the book. Other things to be wary of in a fry-up are suasages - most of which have fillers which are high carb, so be sure to count them and to look for those with the least carbs when shopping. Also bacon, which should be sugar free.

        Beans are allowed on the legumes rung, but even then bought baked beans are going to be way too high carb. A few kidney beans or something as an ingredient may be possible at that stage, once you have discovered how they affect you.

          You have to buy the book , beans are absolutely not on induction.
