  • Day 7

    I'm feeling great and am down 6 lbs... but I can feel it already! This may sound nuts, but one of my many jobs is as a banquet server and I wear a tuxedo shirt for it. Last week it was snug and I wore it to work yesterday and it was comfortable! yay!

    The first couple days were tough, especially bc I'm working in 3 restaurants... I didn't realize how much habit I had to break... from the glass of pop, to grabbing a roll, finishing the end of a jr shake... not to mention all the pastas we pick at and fried food everywhere and always being shared! I've been good though--- when people offer and question why I say no I just tell them I can't eat sugar or that I'm on my "crazy diet" lol.

    Best part of the week was the girl @ one job that told me she could lose 20 lbs faster than I could... and wouldn't listen to me when I explained my WOE... she giggled and told me all she's eaten this week is tuna and pudding and fruit but that she accidently pigged out on ice cream one day... then cookies the next... then... you get the idea... and she even tried taunting my with cookies and I'm like, "I dont even have the urge to touch one, sorry!" Which made her get all huffy! lol--- I felt victorious in that one!

    Week 2 here I come!

    Congrats to you and keep up the good work!

    It IS hard when everyone around you is eating things you can't, but look at it this way, while they get fatter eating that stuff, you're getting smaller and healthier.

          good for you, days 5 to 8 were my hump, once over that, it was down hill easy. if its already easy for you to resist, then you are home free. Good luck.

            Great job avoiding all that food while changing your WOE. Continue working hard to get that 2nd week under your belt. Today is my 8th day and I feel great too, I believe this is an answer to my finally losing the weight that has literally made me avoid so much life! We are working toward finding ourselves again and enjoying life!!!

                Great Job so far! I also work in a food place.. A Dining Hall of a campground and it is a very carby place to work.. But I try to find out what we are having for dinner those particular nights.. About the only thing we fix that I can get away with is Italian Chicken.. But we ALWAYS have a salad bar
