I am happy to report that following my 14 day induction I weighed this morning and lost an unbelievable (for me anyway) 10 pounds.
A big thank you to everyone on this board who share so readily of their experiences and expertise in this WOE. You guys are AWESOME!!!
I also remeasured myself and have lost a whopping 8.25 inches which is further proof that this WOE works wonders.
For anyone reading this that is on the fence about trying Atkins, I encourage you to GO FOR IT because if it works for me it will work for you. I think it works because it is not too hard to stick to the plan since you are never seriously hungry and can eat until you are satisfied. What personally helped me was eliminating all diet soda for the 14 day period, drinking 93 ounces of water every day, eating mostly just the veggies from the salad list (they fill you up and prevent constipation
). I have almost zero willpower but I can honestly say I was never seriously tempted to cheat during induction and my biggest personal challenge was going 14 days with NO ALCOHOL
Anyway, thanks again to everyone for their help and support.

Aug Goal! 155

since I know from personal experience how discouraging it can be to go up and down on a daily basis.
that is not the absolute best decision to make at this point but I decided that FOR THIS ONE NIGHT ONLY I am going to do this. Tomorrow, it is back on the wagon
