  • Alcohol on New Years??????

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows of a yummy Atkins Vodka drink for New Years Eve. I just want to have maybe 3 or 4 drinks at the most but if I can't drink at all then I won't because this is more important of course.

I realize that I would need to be drinking even more water if I am consuming alcohol!!!

On another note...Does crystal-light count towards my water consumption each day? I have a hard time drinking just water but love the rasberry crystal light!!!

Are you on induction? Alcohol is not allowed until the higher rungs. But if you just can't help yourself an Atkins friendly drink is better than a high carb drink.

Here are some suggestions: Vanilla coke and rum or vodka. Tropical punch Crustal Light and rum or Vodka. I am on extended induction and will be avoiding alcohol....this time around.

As scaleski says, alcohol is not allowed on induction, so should be avoided. Apart from that your body will stop burning fat till it has used up all the alcohol, so you will be putting any potential loss due to all your hard work on 'hold' if you do decide to indulge
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
