    My Intro:

    I'll be 34 in a few weeks. I'm 6'4".

With the new year, I have decided to get serious about losing weight and getting healthy. I lost 40 pounds on Atkins several years ago, but due to lack of follow through and a knee injury, it's back and more.

Starting induction today and I feel motivated. I have read this forum from time to time and I thought if I posted up, it might give me some help as I go through this process.

Giving up caffeine will be hard for me. First goal is to get under 300 pound so that my scale will work .

        Welcome to our ADBB family
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

              Re: Here we go...

Thanks for the kind words. Day two is going pretty good. Check out my fit day to see what I have eaten so far. I have been drinking tons of water (100 ounces so far).

Still have dinner to eat. That will be some leftover venison heated up with some butter this time to get some fat (that seems so wrong).

Good luck to everyone. I want to go buy a scale just to see where I'm really at.
