I can honestly say I don't enjoy food all that much. Yes, I occasionally enjoy a Volcano brownie from The Rainforest Cafe, and Tiramisu from Olive Garden, but I look forward to the Olive Garden's salad and the Rainforest Cafe's Asian Salad. I could literally live on salads!
I hate cooking but have to because of my family. I am not a morning eater and don't think about food. Sometimes it will be 4:00 in the afternoon when I realize I haven't eaten yet. THAT is my food problem... I just have no interest in it. I need to eat instead of waiting until the last minute when I suddenly realize I am STARVING and then shove anything in front of me down my throat.
I do know what I need to do, it's just a matter of doing it. I need to eat.
Anyway, my question (thanks for listening to my rant above)...
I started Induction and am trying VERY hard to make myself eat. I love all the foods, have no problem with them, but for 4 days haven't had a single "meal". I just pick. I have all the veggies and meats that I am allowed cut up, prepared and ready. Each time I walk past the frig I grab a few pieces of something. (I take that back, I did make a couple of omlettes if that is considered a meal). Is this OK? How important is it to your body to actually have a "meal". Does it matter??? The way I am eating now I probably eat around 2 oz's of something (sometimes more) around every 15 or 20 minutes. Is my "picking" okay?
