Arg. I think my scale is broken or just wants to make me happy. When I went to the doctor a few months back, I weighed in at 143. At the same time at home, my scale said 135. So I'm looking at my scale now and it says 134.. but I don't know if I should trust it. I'm on day 3 of induction and I know water weight sheds quickly, so I'm not sure if it's my scale or if it's the truth. Help?

Re: Lying Scale?
Welcome to the scale crazies ........The key to weighing yourself is to use the same scale so when the number goes down you'll know it's going down ....... I always weight myself three times and as long as the number doesn't change in between moments then you can pretty much accept the loss it shows you that doesn't mean another scale won't say different in fact I would almost bet it would. but going down a pound will still be going down a pound if that makes sense?
Good Luck!

Re: Lying Scale?
Scales drive me crazy! Almost to the point that I considered buying a Doctor's digital scale (but the $400 price cleared my head). I have tried out several scales and found that they weighed up to 5 -8 pounds difference among them. I finally found one I like that is always consistent and that is what matters. If next year I go to the Dr's and he weighs me and it comes out higher or lower, so be it. All that mattters to me is that my scale goes down.
