  • Your weih-in preference?

    I am curious how others weigh themselves.

    Do you weigh-in in the morning, afternoon, o evening.

    Do you wigh in nude or in clothes

    Do you weigh in another way as inthe Dr. office only, once a day, once a week, once a month or randomly?

    It's best to weigh in first thing in the morning, after you pee. Doing it naked is optional, LOL. I don't imagine my nighties weighing more than or even up to a lb, so, I stay dressed. Your weight will fluctuate a few lbs all day. I weigh in everyday, but it's not advised! I only do it cuz I'm guilty....

      I weigh in every Monday morning. I work in a hospital so I'm able to go to my doctors office & use that scale. It is the ONLY scale I use. I wear hospital scrubs which are light weight.

        The other important thing is to take your measurements when you first start. Then continue to do them once or twice a month. It is wonderful to see the inches just melting away!!! If you haven't taken your measurements please do!!!

          First thing in a morning, naked, cos i generally sleep naked, go pee, then weigh... i do it every morning, cos i'm guilty also, i would only recommend once a week or it can get depressing with the natural fluctuations on the scale.

            Yep I'm a daily, morning, after pee, naked, quilty weigher too!!!!

              I'm another sleep naked, pee, weigh naked every morning person. I just like to know and I don't sweat the inevitable fluctuations. I record my weight if it's down, but not if it's up - in that case I just wait for the next new low.

                I got rid of all scales. I go to the doctors office once or every 2 months.
                My whole self worth is dependent on a weigh in and I try to cut out all temptation.

                  What should I measure....BTW i am hitting th ethrift store today to see if they have any exercise equipment my goal today is to acheive an ab roller or something similar for less than $10 and some kind of step or elliptical thingy. and if they have balls im getting those too

                    It saves every measurement for you, i have my first day on Atkins back in 2004 on there, its fun to compare!

                      iguess i will be getting a sewing measuring tape today lol. will help. kind hard to use construction measuring tape. LMAO

                        I started the program on a Thursday, so I use every Thursday morning as my weigh-in day. I'm considering moving it to every OTHER Thursday, however.

                            Did it. and I don't like what I found. I am nearly 50% body fat
