Well everyone.. I have come a long way.. I feel like a different person, and its been an interesting journey!
So far I have lost over 10 LBS.. And my clothes really are loose.. I think since I have a ton to lose, I will be moving to Extended induction!
Some notes and suggestions :
I did supplement a Atkins shake or Bar in here and there.. Did not stall me 1 bit. However Id like to note, Id never consume more then 1 Bar and Shake per day, and usually they were on days where I was stuck at work and needed to eat. Id suggest if you MUST use them, limit them to no more then 1 every 3 days..
My Induction flu symptoms ended approx on day 7.. So expect on day 3ish through 5 to have the HEAVY flu, and lingering effects till day 7..
I also managed to COMPLETELY cut out all Caffiene, not a single drop in 13 days.. I feel fine without it!!
Also I completly eliminated ALL SODA.. I was a soda nut before, 3-5 Diet cokes a day, or a Rockstar energy drink in morning and 4-5 diet cokes later.. Now.. NONE, Zilch, Zip, and I have MORE energy!
Drink water.. Then more water.. Then when you think your stomach is overflowing with water.. DRINK SOME MORE.. 100-110OZ is what I recommend.. More if you are in Week 2 and workout!
Lastly, read those labels! Some things have those hidden carbs in them, keep it under wraps and you will succeed!
One last thing.. Exercise AFTER day 7, if you try before it intensifies your Flu symptoms and can send you into a feeding frenzy! Wait the 7 days for the detox then right promptly on day 8, Hit the treadmill! Exercise has been much easier without the sugar, and I feel less tired when I run! Exercise is NOT AN OPTION!
