  • Oily Skin

I am on my 4th day of Atkins and I have noticed that I have really oily skin today. I don't usually have oily skin, and I have been drinking LOTS of water. I have done Atkins several times before, and this has never happened. Is anybody else going through this?? Thanks!

    Re: Oily Skin

Thankyou!!! finally someone who has it too. I have had it on every single time I have done atkins. I know it is not in my head here.

Yes, and I have very fine hair. I look like I have not showered in a four days in a matter of two (hair wise). But, its all good. I do have a new pimple.

I use those pads they sell in a container to wipe my face more, I try not to do it more than twice a day. I also love noxzema wash as well.

Yes I have extremely fine hair also...maybe it is something about our genes. I do break out a lot, but I started using Proactive a little over a year ago, and now I very rarely break out. My teenage brother has really bad ache and Proactive cleared it all up. Just a quick commercial for Proactive...haha

I didn't really notice until you said something, but me too!
Then again, I HAVE had like 3 burgers and have been cooking fatty stuff all day.

Nothing a little cetaphil can't handle.

I actually know a lot of people that Proactive made them break out real bad. Maybe they should send out some type of test system first to make sure people don't break out...well I guess people won't spend as much money then.

I have heard it is a good product. I think my skin for the most part is the best it has been in my life. I sure wish they had proactive for me to try in my teens. I have so many scars from acne back then.

The genes are the total reason for my baby fine hair. My Mom's hair! My Daughter has it as well.

I agree, when your skin is sensitive you need to use less. I heard that you should wash your face with just water after your using an astringent because the alchol in it just keeps drying, and drying.

The more fatty the foods, the more grease. I totally agree. I tried cetaphil I think? I got some in my mouth, ick!!!! tastes bad. But, hey if it works for you use it.
