    Veggies???

    Could some one set me straight on the veggie rule on induction.

    Salad veggies= 2 or 3 cups

    Other (alowed) veggies= 1 cup

    2 cups of salad plus 1 of other

    OR

    3 cups of salad


    I strongly recommend the first option.

        I, personally, don't eat ham anymore It's almost impossible to find one that is sugar and nitrate free. When you do find them at a health food store or Whole Foods or some place like that...they are EXPENSIVE.

        Otherwise, if you are going to have them anyway, look for ones that are sugar free at the very least.

          Agree with Emma and Joy.

          Hams have a variety of carb counts. I've seen everything from 3 grams per 1 ounce to as much as 9 grams per ounce. When I can find it, I get a "smoked picnic". It's a smoked pork shoulder---no added sugars, etc. And it's a good substitute for ham.
