    Re: 1 particular craving

Mix heavy cream with Walden's Chocolate mix... tastes great & just like a shake. They have strawberry too! The syrups are sugar free, carb free, calorie free, gluten free.

Thanks, but having lost over 100 pounds and keeping it off for several years, I'm fairly secure in my consumption of Diet Rite. I realize that blanket statements may seem like a good idea, but everybody is in a different situation, and most know what is and is not working for them. Dr. Atkins specifically stated more than once that he NEVER wanted people to feel hungry, physically OR psychologically. And that they were free to consume as much 'legal' food/drink (as is Diet Rite) as they wanted in order to satisfy that hunger. If you find yourself sucking down a case a day, and drinking no water? You might have a problem. But I don't see anybody here suggesting that.
100 pounds gone forever from 12/03-11/04. Thank you Dr. Atkins, may you rest in peace...

I've been drinking the shakes periodically, and am still losing. I think everyone's body reacts differently.

That is the beauty of Atkins. Finding out what works for YOU so that you can achieve and maintain your goals. I was just reading some "low cal/fat" articles, and they were SO depressing. I don't know how anybody could eat like that to lose, much less for life.

I am pretty sure it could at least be shipped there. You can go to this site http://www.econsumeraffairs.com/am_b...e&F2=Diet_Rite or call the below numbers in the UK to see if they can tell you what vendors sell Diet Rite in the UK. Its one of the only diet sodas I have actually liked. As a matter of fact im having a White Grape Diet rite at the moment.

I got these from calling the consumer number on the can 1-866-387-4837.... (Will have to EDIT/ADD the numbers as soon as I get them in the email the lady said she'd send)

I like to use the shakes in place of cream for some things...(cream has too many carbs if you use too much)

I like some atkins vanilla in a glass of vanilla coke or added to orange soda for a "creamsicle"...

no need to attack me here, if you have been doing atkins successfully as long as your join date for this forum suggests, I have not been talking to you anyway.
This was about ppl feeding their cravings instead of getting rid of them, especially those just starting out or being in the early stages of atkins.

and dont you worry, all I ever drink and have been drinking is water and tea at most, I have absolutely no problem with that sweet stuff.
Date to reach goal: I don't care, as long as it happens :P
